Werkstudent:in (w/m/d) - Energy Markets
We are a fast-growing, well-funded energy-tech startup (founded in 2025), building the digital energy analyst of the future. Our platform is the analytical brain behind battery storage (BESS) investments. We help project developers, asset owners, and investors make better multi-million-euro decisions — through data-driven simulations, scenarios, and market analyses. We don't sell a "nice-to-have." We sell better decisions. Now we're building our Energy Markets Division. And we're looking for someone to support the core team. In this role, you'll support the development of our market analysis capability and our expansion across European energy markets.
- Currently enrolled student (energy, engineering, economics, business, data science, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills and a passion for research
- Interest in energy markets, market design, and techno-economic dynamics
- Structured way of working and high attention to detail
- Confident with Office tools (especially Excel)
- Motivated to take on responsibility and dive into a complex subject area
- Excellent German and English skills
- Builder mindset: get things done rather than just talk about them
🏠 Flexible working hours & remote work
💡 Direct collaboration with the founders and energy market experts
🌱 Direct impact — you'll help prepare our web suite for our next market entry
💼 Real responsibility instead of typical working-student tasks
💚 No corporate red tape, no politics — focus on execution
🙌 An ambitious team that's growing fast
If you're excited not just to run analyses, but to actively help build a division and shape markets, you're in the right place.
We look forward to your application!
- Some experience with energy market research, battery storage, or techno-economic modeling
- Basic understanding of European power markets (DA/ID/balancing)
- Experience with Python or data tools is a plus, but not required
- Enjoy translating complex topics into clear research outputs
